Credit unions in the Southern Tier Chapter of the Credit Union Association of New York collected items to include: hats, scarves, mittens and socks. These items were collected at area branches as part of the annual "Keeping Our Community Warm" drive in conjunction with the Broome County United Way Coat Drive.

United Way representative Cherry Carley was thrilled to receive the donations to help those in need keep warm this winter season.

Participating credit unions were Empower Federal Credit Union, GHS Federal Credit Union, Horizons Federal Credit Union, Sidney Federal Credit Union, State Employees Federal Credit Union (SEFCU), UHS Employees Federal Credit Union and Visions Federal Credit Union.
